Compaction Plates from Continetal Soil Technology offer enhanced compactive performance, durability and flexability.

Three independently mounted compaction units are able to follow the cambers and falls of the roads without compromise. Each of the three plates has its own high performance hydraulic motor and pump pairing to prevent differential oil flows with a common system. This ensures even performance and compaction accross the width of work regardless of load.

The use of Vibrating Plates can offer enhanced compaction of stone and granular materials. By vibrating the area under the plates the particles and those around them are moving allowing natural movement and therefore compaction with nominal force or weight applied. This differs from a roller, where concentrated load or mass is targeted at a smaller area to force particle movement and compaction.

The superior performance benefits of the plates is further enhanced by their mobility. The plates are transported to and from the site mounted on the tractor unit. This represents a huge benefit and increased flexability when compared to heavy rollers and associated awkward low loader movements often making remote or smaller sites un-ecconomical.
